Tabassum studied dentistry at Manchester University, graduating in 2004. She undertook her vocational training in Aylesbury and then spent a year in private practice in Australia. When she returned to the UK, Tabassum worked for the Community Dental Service, in Aylesbury and at Stoke Mandeville Hospital. She joined Portway Dental Practice in 2009, taking over from a retiring husband and wife couple.

Tabassum has a keen interest in Postgraduate studies, driving her to gain a Diploma in Management and in 2010 , and she was awarded the MJDF at the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

She enjoys all aspects of dentistry but especially treating nervous patients.

In my spare time I like to be involved in charity work, I have spent time doing voluntary work overseas. I enjoy sketching and yoga for relaxation and am currently the secretary for the Oxford BDA Branch Section.
